Drag fon.nu to your bookmark bar to add a bookmarklet.

API

fon.nu has only one method right now. You can use a get call to http://fon.nu/v3/shorten passing the longUrl parameter and you will receive back a short url.

Method: GET
Parameters:

• longUrl - the long url you want to shorten (required)
• single_use - can be set to true if you want a single use URL. Single use URL are removed from system after opened for the first time
• email_trigger - if set to true, every time someone opens the short url, you will receive a mail notice.
• email - the email to send notices to, if you set email_trigger = true
• custom_trigger - use a custom url if set to true
• custom_url - the url to be used.
